Strategy
The site has three great potentials, which manifests and becomes strategies to "Live with..." in the future. To Live With Nature - as to adapt, protect and retreat the human environment to and from the forces of water. To Live With Cultural heritage - to keep and develop existing whilst maintaining accessibility to water. Lastly, To Live With Renewal - which means to embrace new development by connecting it to both city and nature.
The threat of flooding and how the site will behave in the future if nothing is done to manage flooding during events. In order to ensure flood protection, two protection lines is drawn for both a 5 year event and a 100 year event. The 5-year event protecting along the waterfront, where harbor meets water. The 100-year event protection line is created by a dike and secures both recreational value and the existing built environment.

Underneath is interviews done in cooperation with the interests on site. This has inspired the development of the protection line as well as designing built environment with the ability to withstand.
